Don’t you just love this picture? I saw it on my friend Amber’s facebook page and begged her to send it my way. Her outfit is so classic and chic looking; perfect for Chicago, where she lives and works. I love the combination of the loosely draped scarf, the boyfriend jean jacket and the hat. And to be honest I am a little jealous of the hat, with all this hair they never fit me quiet right.
I totally neglected to ask Amber where all the parts of her outfit came from. But she did tell me that the jacket was the fruit of a two year search for the perfect jean boyfriend blazer. I think the hunt paid off. The real question is why doesn’t this stylish photographer have a blog? Right?
Tip: If you have a specific item in mind for your wardrobe, don’t give up with a less than perfect substitute.
