When it comes to the clothing choices I make in the morning I am not usually inspired by TV shows or celebrity style. I barely remember what someone was wearing on the show I watched the night before. But every now and then there is something that stands out. There was a blue and green creation that Jane wore on Jane By Design (yes, I am still talking about that show. Sorry it’s gotten under my skin.). I fell in love with the combination and had to try it for myself. I have this blue summer dress that I never wear in the winter time, but it was the perfect shade to pair with the green jacket. Combine that, as Jane usually does, with black tights and that is a complete look.
I’ve never gone this bold and upfront with my color pairings before, but I have to say it is one of my favorite outfit combinations that I have come up with as of late.
What about you? Have you tried pairing two bold color? Color blocking or otherwise? What would you put together if you had the courage to walk out of the house in it?
Tip: Go bold. Try wearing two colorful pieces together. If you are afraid of the combination, go with two solids and avoid patterns.

That is an AMAZING jacket! I love the combo of colors, I’m all for going bold.
This looks so good! The green jacket is definitely one of my favorite pieces and the dress has really wonderful movement. Mix and Match Fashion is wearing a similar color combination today!

Ha, I took note of the blue/green outfit she was wearing as well and am planning on putting something together with that as inspiration. I don’t know why I’ve never thought of these colors together, but they look lovely.

I really love this look. I think it’s a lot of fun to go bold with colors sometimes. I’m not always in the mood for it but when I am I like to wear a lot of bright blue. I think the green is also great and I almost picked up a skirt in the same shade.

Colour blocking!
I like yellow and green but I haven’t yet tried it; purple and orange; purple and red and green and orange (isn’t that all the colours of the rainbow?). This looks great by the way- need to find a bold blue somewhere
Looks great! I love that jacket. I can’t do green or that color blue with out looking sickly so I am super jealous of you.
