I received the Red Velvet cake from Bake Me a Wish to celebrate a special day in March. When ordering you pick the day that you want the cake to arrive. Unlike most purchases online, the cake is sent the exact day you want to eat it. It arrives packed with a frozen icepack in order to ensure it remains fresh.
When it arrived at my front door, the icepack was still totally frozen, the cake perfectly cold. I could have left it in the travel box or moved it into the fridge.
And let me tell you, the cake was amazing! Everyone loved it and there wasn’t a crumb left at the end of the night. The cream cheese frosting was delicious and the cake was so perfectly colored. I’ve made and purchased red velvet cakes before and have never seen them as perfectly red before.
