Becoming a Bag Lady

I received these purses in order to share my honest opinion about the product and the company. If you’ve read any of my previous posts, you already know how much I love Mimi Boutique.

I’ve always been one to love accessories, of all types, but lately I’ve really enjoyed branching out specifically with purses. I find that while a piece of jewelry or scarf is an essential addition to most outfits, a brightly-colored or interestingly-designed purse can help step everything up a notch.

I’m also one of those people that either walks around with a small little wristlet, filled with only the core essentials, OR a huge bag that holds everything I need for the day (camera, iPad, keys, several lipglosses, wristlet or wallet, notebook, phone, headphones, business card holder, etc…).

These new purses from Mimi Boutique (we know how much I love this company) are perfect for when I need everything in one place for an entire day. They are large enough to hold everything, and then some. The Kate Satchel, in purple, has a center zipper pouch, which basically creates three separate sections inside. It’s perfect for organizing everything I’m carrying, making it to much easier to find what I need in a hurry.

The orange bag, the Elaine Satchel, is large enough to hold my laptop as well as everything else I need for a day of blogging at Starbucks. It’s also really comfortable and easy to wear over the shoulder - an essential for me.

Even better, the orange purse - The Elaine Satchel - is FREE with any $100 purchase. So you can grab a new purse and some great accessories and then get this bag, which comes in four colors, absolutely free. Personally, I love the material used to make the inner lining. (Of course I forgot to get a pic of that, but it is adorable.

Both purses also come with an exterior zippered pocket - which I love to slip my phone into since I hate digging around for it when I want to tweet or check in on Foursquare.

And I will admit, I was a little skeptical about the orange color. When it arrived I worried about having anything in my closet that would work with something of this shade. But in reality I find it goes with a lot more than I initially expected. It’s going to be one of my most-used bags this Spring.
