Recap of Recent Outfits That Didn’t Merit Their Own Posts

by katyrose on April 8, 2015

Sometimes there is just so much going on that I don’t get around to posting outfit pics as frequently as I’d like. The month of March was like that for me. Too much going on, not enough time to post, blog and edit what I needed to. With the backlog of outfit pics, I figured it would be easier to create one post with a smattering of pics from recent outfits rather than toss them all in the trash or try and find time before the change of seasons to post all of these.

Pants: Marc Jacobs, Shirt: Astars, Jacket:Jessica Simpson, Shoes: eBay

Necklace: Rocksbox, Earrings: Stella & Dot, Watch: Charming Charlie

This was a casual Friday look. Since we get to wear jeans to school every Friday, I like to make sure and dress them up a little bit. This pair of jeans is the one I always go for because of the perfect way they fit and the fact that they are so easy to wear with heels. The Jessica Simpson jacket is one that I’m also always reaching for, it’s easy to dress up and so comfortable to wear.

Dress: Shopbop, Jacket: New York & Co., Tights: Walgreens, Shoes: eBay

Watch: Charming Charlie, Bracelet: Forever21, Earrings: House of Harlow

I wore this combination last weekend. Now that the weather is a little nicer I was able to pull this dress out of the back of my closet. The thin material makes it difficult to wear during the very cold months. Even now I needed to pair it with tights, a full slip as well as the jacket.

Pants: Monroe & Main, Sweater: H&M, Cami: Niki Biki, Vest: Kohls, Boots: Rachel Roy

This is one of the outfits I wore in New York at the start of the year. I love the combination of feminine floral pants and then the edgy leather vest combined with the over-sized sweater. The three together are an unlikely pairing but it’s one that I really love.

Skirt: Kohls, Sweater: The Limited, Jacket: New York & Co., Tights: Walgreens, Boots: Rachel Roy,

Scarf: H&M, Purse: Adora Bag, Earrings: Stella & Dot, Watch: Kohls

A tulle skirt! Love. LOVE. While it is a new look for me, I also need to break it in and learn how to wear it in the Spring weather. This is my first attempt at wearing the skirt. I need to start branching out and wearing it more. Perhaps, I’ll take it with to New York this week and wear it at the Fashion Symposium. I can think of a couple new ways to style this that would be perfect for the conference.
