I have distinct memories of being little and having a lipstick kiss stamped on my kiss each and every time Grandma came to visit. My siblings and I would run around during her visits each with a similar mark because Grandma loved her lipstick and wore it well. Perhaps it is that memory that kept me far from lipstick for years and years.
In high school I experimented with tinted lip glosses and thought those were pretty awesome, although now I just find them sticky and a little awkward. Now that I’m adulting I tried graduating to lipstick. And while there are several shades I love - there are also several things I hate about lipstick. I hate that it gets left behind on EVERYTHING. That coffee cup or wine glass. That person’s cheek. Your teeth, if you aren’t careful. Your fork or spoon. And on and on. I’ll slick lipstick on when I know it’s not likely to be left behind somewhere else - like when teaching. But I steer clear of it for the other occasions.
Although, now that I’m getting older I find I also really like how complete a look appears with the swipe of a little lip color. Enter Lipstains! On a whim I picked up a Covergirl Outlast Lipstain to try, not sure I would like it. Turns out I don’t like it - I love it!
What’s to love? So many things. The color lasts and lasts and lasts all day. The colors available are vibrant and eye-catching, the perfect shades of red and pink. The color never comes off on your cup rim or on your loved ones. Application is easy and precise with the pencil-like applicator. It feels like you don’t have anything on your lips - no heavy lipstick or sticky glosses.
It comes in 10 different shades. I own three of them and switch between them constantly. This one is the Scarlet Pucker, which is a vibrant red that I use when a statement lip is needed. Most days I’m swiping on the Teasing Blush to just give a little touch of color.
Have you tried the Outlast Lipstain? What are your thoughts about trading in your lipstick for a lipstain?

I do love a good lip stain, but my only issue with them is that they can be incredibly drying! In the winter they are really hard to pull off. Lip scrub is a must!

I love lip stains, but the only thing that I dislike about some products is the color isn’t always the same as what the shade appears to be in the bottle. Like a red, will show up bright pink. I do love that they last for a long time ,though. Cute color on you!

I can’t stand the way lipstick feels on my lips - but I love the way it looks. This may be an awesome way to still get some color!. Thanks
I’ve used this product before and I completely agree that it is a great one! Definitely better than leaving lipstick stains everywhere!

That shade looks beautifully on you! I haven’t tried lipstain yet but I have heard some wonderful things about it. I just need to find a shade that works with my skin tone and doesn’t make me look like a clown!

This is a gorgeous color on you. I have to be honest, I have never tried lip stains before. I tend to be a creature of habbit. This brand is now tempting to try!

Lipstain is my go to for lip color. It literally last all day and works best for me because I drink a lot of water throughout the day.
I am HORRIBLE at lipstick. Either it ends up everywhere it’s not supposed to be, or it wears off, or it looks glumpy… I cannot wait to try this lip stain instead!
I have a similar one my Josie Maran and I really liked using it! Have you noticed this one drying out quickly?
I have been desperately searching for a product that lasts on my lips! I find myself constantly reapplying my lipstick. I think I NEED to give CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain a try! I’m loving that Scarlet Pucker color, it’s so me!
Thanks for sharing babe! I love lip stains - this one is such a pretty color! Xo, Kyla
