Just like everyone else, I’m a gal who likes a good pair of denim - or two, or three. But let’s be real here - it’s not always easy to find jeans that look and feel good. Over the years, I’ve tried a lot of different brands and have some I love and others I hate and some that are just meh. Recently I tried two pairs of STS Blue jeans and have found a new brand to add to the love column for denim makers.
STS Blue claims to make Southern California-inspired denim, which is meant to be lived in and loved. Most styles come in a cotton, polyester, spandex, and rayon blend making them stretchy and oh-so-comfortable. As with all brands that offer more stretch, probably better to size down one, so that they aren’t baggy after a day of wearing.
Pictured is the Taylor Tomboy Boyfriend denim. The boyfriend style is one of my favorites and I like how this pair is slouchy without being baggy and shapeless. I’ve already worn them with a number of my favorite booties, as featured, as well as tucked into knee-high boots. Both work perfectly. Sizes range from 24 to 31, as is true for most pairs.
I also got the Sailor Skinny Flare, which while not pictured, is now the pair I reach for the most when lounging around the house. They have a really great sailor-style button front but are stretchy enough to just slide right up without undoing buttons. My kind of denim! Plus, for this tall girl, the 33 1/2 inseam means I can wear them without looking like I bought the wrong size or a flood is coming, and others will be able to wear heels with them.
