I don’t know about you, but I like to switch out my phone cases on a regular basis. Sometimes I want something a little more basic, sometimes a little more fun, sometimes a little more artsy. Caseapp.com makes that easy.
The online cell phone and computer case company, allows you to either pick from the already designed options, or to create your own. So, of course, I had fun creating my own. I made three different cases - two for me, one for my sister who just ungraded to the iPhone 7plus.
Creation is easy. You can use a wide array of colors for the backdrop, as well as the available graphics and texts that Caseapp provides. But you can also upload your own images or art. For the palm tree cases I did a combination of both. I took two palm tree photos and uploaded them to the system and then used one of the background colors that Caseapp provides in order to give the cases a more trendy look than a single picture could provide. For the third case I went with a favorite picture and allowed it to wrap the entire case. All three turned out perfect - just as I expected they would look.
The customization isn’t even pricey. The cases cost $37. To me, the cost was pretty comparable to a case you’d get from your cell phone provider. A custom iPhone case was never easier. (If you want to purchase your own, you can get 20% off your purchase with the code: MODLYCHIC20
Plus, Caseapp has an option that allows you to make the standard case or a ‘tough case,’ which provides extra protection to your phone. Given the amount I use my phone and the beating it sometimes takes I opted for the tougher option. Since putting it on my phone I’ve dropped it at least 5 times. The case and the phone have survived those moments surprisingly well.
For those of you who don’t have an iPhone, Caseapp also creates cases for Mac laptops, iPads, and Samsung Galaxy phones. It also covers a number of different models, from the iPhone 4 through the iPhone 7 Plus.
The only downside I found to the cases is that the headphone jack is too small to fit my aux cord in the car. It fits my headphones just fine, but the aux cable doesn’t get a sold enough connection.
