Pink and Gray -Tulle and Denim

After I wrote the post, How To Wear Pale Pink, I’ve been on a personal pale pink-kick. I find myself reaching specifically for the pale pink and gray combination whenever possible. Hence, Easter seemed the perfect moment to really go with this trend, mixing two great muted colors (pink and gray) as well as two totally different material types (denim and tulle). Of course, no outfit is complete without a great pair of shoes and no Spring outfit is complete without flowers, so the floral stilettos were a natural addition to complete the look in a classy and refined manner.

Personally, this was a perfect Easter combination - comfortable enough to be in all day, dressy enough for the occasion, fashion-forward enough to let the relatives know I’m still doing ‘that fashion thing,’ inexpensive but still refined. Plus, it gave me a new reason to wear and style the tulle skirt, which I have had for months and have only worn twice now. Overall it was a win-win.

Pretty! I question how versatile tulle skirts are in life, but this is such a cute combination! And it actually works for Easter Sunday.

I really like this look. I think the pink jacket is rather wonderful… and I like how you have your sleeves. I always fold the cuffs back a couple of times on my denim jacket, but I’ve never rolled the sleeves right up like you have here… and I roll up my sleeves up on blouses and button ups all the time. I plan to shamelessly emulate your look, and follow your blog.

I absolutely love this combination! Not only does the grey and pink work really well but I love the combination of the tulle and the denim together. The shoes bring it all together and make it look even more awesome. I have always wanted a tulle skirt but haven’t quite found one I like yet. I’ll have to check out Kohl’s because I love yours. Thanks for the great ideas!
