If you are anything like me, you like a good deal and a great bargain. And you hate paying full price for anything, especially today when every retailer seems to have some kind of deal running every few days or weeks. But keeping track of all the sales, knowing when to buy and when your favorite wish list items have been marked down is a hassle. No one wants to spend hours scrolling through wish lists on a variety of sites and checking for price reductions. That’s where Shoptagr comes into the mix.
Good news. There is a site and a little button that will do all that work for you - Shoptagr. Simply install the button as part of your browser. Then while you online shop and create holiday gift buying lists, you click the Shoptagr button for that item to be saved to your list. See the prices and get notified when there is a price drop. That way you can make the most of all your hard earned cash and save some moolah this season.
When you add an item, you can go into the Shoptagr site and indicate the size or color you want in the item as well as when you want to be notified - when there is any kind of price drop, when it drops to 25% off, 50% off, etc… This way you also don’t need to get excited for a price drop when your preferred color or size isn’t available. Bonus! It will also alert you when an item you love is back in stock.
Another bonus… You can check out all your wishlist items from all the sites in one convenient place. No need to have a dozen pages open to be checking items and costs and trying to figure out which store to buy Grandma’s sweater from. You can see them all together in one spot. Plus, you can add a bunch of different lists, so you can have the items you’re thinking of getting for your friends in one list and possible party dresses for you in another list. The one above is my holiday party dress list. It will also sort by retailer or brand if you want to take a look at items in that way.
The only downside I’ve seen is that not every retailer is part of Shoptagr yet, but all the major ones that I shop are on here, at least from what I have noticed so far. There are more than 700 retailers part of the system. It seems some of the smaller, niche brands aren’t synced yet. And occasionally, an item won’t appear in your list of items, but that seems to be based on the retailer’s site. For instance, I wasn’t able to save anything from Off Saks Fifth to Shoptagr.
Shoptagr is also a mobile app, making your saving and purchasing even easier. What are you waiting for? Make your shopping easier, especially all the Black Friday and Cyber Monday purchasing, by getting started with Shoptagr.
