Sierra Trading Post for Discounted Winter Coats - Gift Guide 2016

This is a Fashionista Event and a promotional item was provided to me. Hosts for this event are Still Blonde after all these Years and ModlyChic

TBT-winter-memoriesWhen I went off to college one of the first things my mom got me in order to be able to survive the cold Milwaukee winters and the walking from building to building was a Columbia winter coat. I still remember it as if it is part of my winter wardrobe even today. The coat was a combination of light green and gray. It was part of the brand’s 3-in-1 line, which included a separate shell and liner which could be worn together or each piece could be worn separately. It had pockets in all sorts of great places, making it easy to keep my school ID and dorm key on me and accessible at all times. And it was the warmest thing I had ever owned. That style is still sold today - the Columbia Sportswear Bugaboo. Bonus: Sierra Trading Post has it marked down at more than 50% off the usual listed price. Discounted winter coats for the win.

Now, years later, I still trust Columbia with my active cold-weather needs. I now have a plum-colored Columbia Sportswear Lhotse Interchange Snow Jacket, which I use for building snowmen, sledding and skiing. It’s waterproof and still insulated with that 3-in-1 technology that I loved back in college. And Sierra Trading Post has it marked down from $240 to $129.99, which is a steal for a jacket like this. (The company has a full line of women’s jacket and coats as well as snow pants to make winter fun warmer and therefore more enjoyable.)

If it’s time to update your winter coat, Sierra Trading Post has a deal going on now through the end of the month, which will give you free shipping on orders over $75 when you use the code ALWARMTH6. The online retailer can offer these discounted winter coats at amazing deals because it sells brands like The North Face, Marmot, Columbia, and Marker that have been overstocked, have small blemishes and irregularities, or are closeouts. (Sidenote: the offer is valid within the 48 contiguous states only. Orders ship via UPS Ground. Not valid on oversized items or orders or items with special shipping charges.)

I love the Cole Haan Asymmetrical Belted Jacket - Wool (For Women). I like that it’s wool (definitely warm), long enough to cover my seat (especially outdoors on a bench) and the style works for both casual and dress outfits.

I like the Bogner Demi-T Ski Jacket - Waterproof, Insulated (For Women). The price is steep (pun intended) but I really do like those stripes.

The white ski jacket, I love the color and never want to choose white because of the fear of it getting dirty. If I could win it I’d be all over that!!

I love the Ellen Tracy Anorak Packable Down Parka- 550+ Fill Power (For Women) a lot because finding a packable coat with a great longer length is wonderful. The weather where I live is mostly without jacket for day, but evenings and nights the cold can sneak up, and the included carry sack will make sure I have it near when I need it. http://www.sierratradingpost.com/ellen-tracy-anorak-packable-down-parka-550-plus-fill-power-for-women~p~7889a/?filterString=womens-jackets-and-coats~d~261%2Fsizefamily~special%20sizes!plus%2F

I love the osito fleece jackets by North Face. I have worn these jackets for over 5-6 years. They are great for fall and winter! I wouldn’t mind another one!
