Several years ago I was clued in to Karina Dresses - a US-based company that makes simple, easy-to-wear dresses that are flattering on so many different body types and personal styles.
This dark cranberry-colored dress, which they call the Megan, is from the new fall collection, and personally I think it is perfect for the holiday season. The cranberry/red color is perfect for almost any party you might attend. Plus this dress can be dressed up or dressed down depending on the event.

This outfit I put together for the school day. Simple to wear and easy to teach in. For a holiday party I could easily see the riding boots being replaced with a pair of patterned tights and a great party heel. Trade the scarf for a bold statement necklace and the dress easily goes from day to night.

The PATTY – navy and orange flowers. (A personal favorite look.)

I really like the Megan - Red and Black Plaid.
I like the Megan - Crimson Navy Floral, but the Deep Crimson is also great. Too hard to choose!
I would love the Trudy - Cranberry Cross Dots because of the vintage inspired print and flattering style.
I would probably choose the Patti style: either the houndstooth or the navy stripe
