This time of the year I am obsessed with sweaters in all shapes, sizes and colors. If I could wear a different one every day for the rest of the cold season, I would be perfectly content with that sartorial choice. Since owning dozens of sweaters is not in the budget, not really practical given my lack of closet space, I need to pick sweaters that I love and will be versatile enough for all sorts of outfits and events. This v-neck tunic sweater from Lilla P. is exactly that. It’s a perfect go-to sweater for nearly all occasions.

The green color is one of my favorites, adding color to this season which is usually filled with the somber blacks, grays, and browns. (This sweater comes in this spruce color as well as coal and maple.) The v-neck is low enough not to feel like I’m being choked (I’m not a fan of tights things around my neck) and yet it is high enough that I don’t need to wear a cami or t-shirt underneath to keep things work appropriate. It’s also made of a combination of 95% Cotton and5% Cashmere, making it so soft and comfortable. Let’s be honest there is nothing worse than a scratchy sweater this time of year

So far, I’ve worn this with a pair of skinny jeans and knee-high boots for a day at the zoo with the niece and nephews. I’ve worn it dressed up to work with this striped skirt and dressed down with a pair of black denim. As the weather continues to get colder, I’m seeing this layered over a button-up patterned or denim shirt.
