Swap: The Little Black Dress

This next week on ModlyChic it will be all Swap all the time; getting ready for the SchoolHouse Swap event in Chicago. I figured it was a perfect opportunity to show off different swap finds I’ve incorporated into my wardrobe.

First up… the little black dress with the cream and pink hem. I’ve actually managed to scare to LBDs from swaps over the last year. Not bad, huh? This one is great because it has the colored hem, which adds a little something to an everyday LBD. Plus it feels great on and it actually long enough for my legs! (Check out other ways I’ve worn this dress: With a pink scarf or with my white motorcycle jacket.)

Tip: Go out and crunch through some leaves. It will leave you smiling - which is always the best fashion accessory you can wear.

Dress: Ella Moss, scored from a swap.
Booties: DSW
Hat: H&M
Purse: Target
Sunglasses: Marc Jacobs from Marshalls

Very cute boots! I want a some open toe booties but then I think they aren’t practical in New England. But then again- not much is :) I just have to find the perfect pair before I make my investment.

Your tip made me laugh, because I always find myself fighting the urge to run into the piles of leaves in the Commons. Then again, I also find it hard to refrain from chasing pigeons…

I’m interested in seeing the other goodies you’ve scored from swaps. This dress is really cute!
