This is a sponsored post. I was provided with a giftcard in order to use the Curbside service in order to share my honest opinion. Obviously, all opinions are my own.
Have you used Curbside app? Heard of it? In a nutshell: it’s an app that lets you purchase things at places like Target and then just roll up to be handed your purchased items. No need to get out of your car. No card swiping. No lines to stand in. No dodging other shoppers. Simple. Easy. Awesome.
The app walks you through every step of the process. It alerts you via text and app updates when your purchase is ready to pick up.
Five Reasons to Use Curbside:
1. Shopping list that’s more than a list. You’ve been there before. You get to the store, know there are five things you absolutely need, and then as you roam the aisles you can only remember four things. With Curbside you can add the things you need to your shopping cart as you run out. They will stay there until you remove them or purchase them.
2. Saves you time. You order, you drive there, you get handed your bag within minutes of pulling into the Curbside slot, and you drive away. There and done. No waiting in checkout lines. No dodging other carts to get to what you need. No wandering to find where that item you need is located.
3. Saves you money. Because let’s be honest, when you go to Target you walk in looking for a couple things. You walk out with a cart-full and too much money spent. There is no over-spending when you load in exactly what you need.
4. Easy to use. You can browse categories to find what you are looking for, but you can also search directly for the thing you’re needing. I searched for the dry shampoo and facial wipes. I found the new Rob Thomas CD by scrolling through the music section.
5. $10 off at Target, your first time. Using Curbside for the first time? Use the code XOIPO to get $10 off your total. And let’s be honest $10 at Target is pretty awesome. Think of all the things you could snag with $10. Two of those coffee mugs I got. 5 gum car packs. A number of new CDs. Etc… (This is $10 off any purchase over $20.)
Drawbacks: the only one I see is being able to locate the Curbside spot. But after your first purchase, that’s no longer even an issue.
FYI: Curbside is currently available in the Greater Bay Area in Cali, Chicago, Philly and New York. (It just got to Chicago!)
