Posts I Loved in the Month of April:

Don’t Believe the Hype: Nail Edition - Since I am one of those girls who is always trying to grow my nails out and make them look amazing, and one who often fails at it, I loved this post.

Ethical Mother’s Day Gifts - It doesn’t just have to be status-quo gifts for mom this year. This list of adorable, inexpensive and ethical gifts is a sure win.

Boyfriend Jeans + Heels - A favorite look of mine and I love the way she styled this! You can’t beat the comfort of boyfriend jeans with the elegance of a great heel.

10-Minute Makeup Routine - Because let’s be honest as much as we might love to take the time to fully apply makeup everyday, sometimes sleep or that second cup of coffee takes priority.

7 Habits of Supremely Stylish People - Love this take on the 7 Habits of Highly Successful People. Such a great list that is totally spot-on.

Thirteen Crushes - Love this photo/post series she does and this spin on it was adorable. Plus, she’s expecting a little boy, so he made the list. Adorable.

10 Skirts You Need This Spring - Time to update the wardrobe and this list of adorable skirts is just in time for the season.

Omaha Fashion Week - Love seeing smaller cities hosting their own fashion weeks. It is so encouraging to see local designer and the creativity to be found everywhere.

So This is Saturday - I basically just want to live this Saturday for myself. It looks like such a fun and relaxing time.

If you missed the discussion, here’s a recap of the April FBFF posts:

Your Worth as a Blogger - by far the most popular post of the month. The comments from readers and fellow bloggers were inspiring and interesting to read.

Spring 2014 Trends - We agreed on some things and had very different takes on other things we are loving this season.

Blogging: A Hobby or Business - It seems the reasons behind starting a blog vary as much as each individual blogger, as does the reason behind turning your blog into a business or keeping it a fun side hobby.
