It feels like Spring is never going to arrive. Each morning I wake up, I check the weather and then I sigh in despair. We’re still charting temperatures in the high 30’s or mid 40’s. No 60* days. No bare legs. No shortened sleeves. Even floral patterns seems out of place. No. Instead we have continuous days of long sleeves, tights, and endless layers. And while I love the layered look in the fall and early winter, once April hits I’m more than ready to trade those things in for the colorful and simpler looks of the spring and summer.

After wearing this jumpsuit or romper (what’s the difference anyway?) all day at school back in the early fall, I decided that it was not a good teaching item. I needed to wear it for shorter stints of time. But it’s not too often that I’m changing outfits mid-day to justify this jumpsuit. However the other day I had a three-hour school function over a weekend. I knew I was going home and lounging for the rest of the day, so it was the perfect opportunity to pull this out for a couple hours, enjoy it while I could, and then get out of it once back home. I’m kinda thinking I like this winter style jumpsuit.
My guess is that a romper is short? I have no idea. I’ve avoided one-piece anything since I was a child - the hassle of bathroom visits is too much for me.
Here in SE Qld, we are in autumn, and praying for the heat to break. All the reptiles are still active, spring/summer plants are flowering, and we are melting. If I can work out how to send a few of our degrees your way for a few months (say, oh 10 degrees Celcuis or so), I will. And if you could send some rain in return, that would be fabulous. Ta
