It’s this transitional period that has me realizing that my closet is pretty empty of pants. It’s not so bad in the cold winter months when it is easy to wear tights and boots with dresses. And it’s no problem at all in the summertime when bare legs are the only way to stay cool. But now with temperatures hovering in the 50s and maybe 60s, if we are lucky, pants seem to be the obvious choice. It’s too hot and I’m too sick of them to wear tights. It’s too cold to be bare-legged yet. But pants are never as easy thing to find… enter these comfy, easy-to-wear black tapered leg pants from Lilla P.

I love anything that looks dressy but feels like only a step above pajamas, and that’s what these pants are. Wore with a pair of heels and a nice top they are dressy enough for work, brunch, or drinks out with friends. Dressed down with a pair of flats and simple t-shirt they can be worn running errands or on a walk on a bring spring day.
Honestly, since receiving these from Lilla P two weeks ago, I’ve already worn these pants a handful of times. They are just too easy to slip on and feel great wearing all day long.
Loving these black tapered leg pants? Stay tuned for a future outfit of the day featuring an adorable black asymmetrical dress also from Lilla P. It’s a PERFECT summer dress, but alas the weather needs to be a little nicer before I start slipping it on and leaving the house. Can’t wait to show it to you. These are really cute pants. They look light and comfortable. =)
Tapered pants are almost impossible to find here, at least at a good price point, and in a fabric that will wear well for more than 5 minutes. It’s either sprayed on (jeggings, denim or lycra) or wide bootleg. I am heading into winter, and am seriously considering my pants options. I wear jeans/sweats to work (seabird rehabilitation centre), and tights with a dress or skirt are always an option on days off, but I still like a good pair of trousers, for those days where I want to wear something girly, but not tights.
The pants are perfect for the transitional time in the weather! I am definitely a dress/skirt girl, but these pants are so fun that I may need to reconsider! 😀
