5 Fall Trends that I’m loving this year:
Bell Sleeves - a favorite trend of mine, that given how quickly it came in to style will probably only really be popular this year. Grab a top or dress to be on trend but don’t overload your wardrobe with bell sleeves that may not be popular this time next year.
Cable Knit Sweaters - always an essential fall/winter item. This year the go-to color is a kind of berry or maroon. These can be more on the fitted side or slouchy and paired with skinny pants or a pencil skirt. And this is certainly one of the comfiest trends each and every cold-weather season.
Long structured vests - these pretties have burst on the scene this fall and can be seen everywhere. The structured vest is a more modern take on the duster sweaters that were really in last year. Now the vests are long - many hitting at about the knee - but much more tailored than a flowing knit sweater could ever be.
All things Suede - Yes, suede does tend to be a cold-weather item most years, but this time we are seeing it make a really prominent showing in not just winter shoes but also fitted jackets, skirts, vests and the like. Personally, I’m really loving the suede jackets this go-round.
Plaid dresses - Last year it was the plaid shirts that were everywhere. This year, plaid is getting an upgrade to dresses. And they are EVERYWHERE now. Bonus that the plaid patterns aren’t all the typical lumber jack look, but there are some updated looks that are too fun to pass up.
