Usually in the fall and winter months I’m decked out in dark colors and very few patterns. But this year, I’m trying to broaden my horizons and go with patterns - like fall florals and plaids - that can spice up my wardrobe and add a little point of interest to an otherwise black canvas.
Shirt: ModCloth
Skirt: ModCloth
Shoes: Nine West (similar to these)
Clutch: Mimi Boutique (similar to this clutch)
Earrings: Stella and Dot
Necklace: ShopBop (similar to this necklace)
This navy top is the perfect addition to accomplish that. I love it here paired with the full green midi skirt. But I can also imagine it with a green or deep red pencil skirt or a pair of maroon corduroy pants. With the colors it’s pretty versatile and will work well dressed up and dressed down.
And can we just take a moment to notice the back buttons? A fun design element that makes this blouse just a little more than an average blouse.
And this little leather clutch from Mimi Boutique - I’m loving this pretty. It’s easy to carry around and fits all the essentials with a solid closure so you don’t need to worry about losing your things.
How are you feeling about fall florals this season? Are you in on this trend or leaving it behind?
