It’s no secret I’ve been a big fan of eShakti since I first stumbled upon the online clothing boutique years ago! This company specializes in custom making clothing that is tailored to your shape, size and height. No need to purchase a clothing item and then take it to a tailor to get it fitted. No need to buy a standard-sized item that doesn’t fit your non-standard form. (Who is ‘standard’ anyway?)

But eShakti gets even better than custom tailoring for your shape. The company also tweaks designs to your personal preferences. Want longer sleeves or no sleeves? Not a problem, you can make that change. Add pockets or remove pockets. Done. (Although who would remove pockets from a dress is beyond me!) Change the neckline from boatneck to scoop or v depending on what is most flattering to you. Change the skirt length from midi to above the knee. All of that can be done with a couple clicks. Plus any and all changes only bring an additional $7.50 charge.

For instance take this dress, which I wore for Christmas and New Years! It was originally designed as a long-sleeved midi-length dress. I changed the sleeves to be just above the elbow, and shortened the dress to knee-length according to my 5’9″ frame. I then put in all my specific measurements - waist, hips, bust, etc… - to make sure the piece fits exactly as it should. Pretty perfect, if I do say so myself.

This dress has already become my winter go-to party dress and I can see it remaining that for years to come.

Since the clothing items, dresses mostly, are custom made they do take a little longer to arrive in your doorstep than a typical online purchase. Be sure to allow about 3 weeks for delivery, but trust me it is so worth planning ahead. And if it doesn’t fit to your desires you can still return it even after you have custom created it to fit you.

Seriously, does it get any better than that?! I think not!
