ModlyChic Holiday Gift Guide - Part One

I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving and were able to enjoy all the pumpkin and pecan pie you could find! Hello Black Friday and all the shopping and sales that is associated with the following weeks before Christmas. Here’s my Holiday Gift Guide for 2018. It’s a combination of items you may have already seen featured on my Instagram account. Stay tuned for part two of the gift guide, next weekend.

Vionic boots.

Meet the Tinsley Boot. It’s a weather-resistant boot with a suede upper and a short heel, making it perfect for everyday use. Vionic sells it in a wider calf style too if you need the extra room, and in black if you are looking for a more standard color winter boot. Or, if short boots are more your thing, the pair of brown booties I got from them last year are still one of my favorites.

Ambrai India.

Just look at this gorgeous hand block printed blanket! I’m obsessed and have been using it as a throw on the end of my bed since it arrived a couple weeks ago. It was also one of the first things I pulled out after Wednesday’s move. The blanket, scarf and earrings are all handmade pretties from Ambrai India - a small business out of New Delhi, India. Everything is made by rural artisans using high-quality materials. The craftsmanship is gorgeous!

R. Riveter Handbags

Since I hate lugging a purse around while running errands or out for an evening with friends, the belt bag trend has my name all over it! I mean who doesn’t love a modern, chic retake of the 80’s favorite fanny packs? This gorgeous purse is from @rriveterbags - a handbag company owned by military spouses!

They have a sale going on through Sunday: Save $25 when you spend $100. Save $75 when you spend $250. Save $150 when you spend $500. Save $300 when you spend $1,000+

The bag is so well made - inside and out - with pretty material as the inner lining, and an adjustable strap so that is can be a regular purse or a belt bag! Every time I wear it someone asks me where I got it or compliments the bag. As I always say, that’s when you know you have a good product or picked something that perfectly suits you.

SAS Shoemakers Booties

Two things you know I love - booties and leopard print. If they come together, all the better. These mirage wine colored booties with the subtle animal print from SAS Shoemakers had my name all over them! They work perfectly with a skirt or dress, as well as with cropped or full-length denim. The booties run a little small, so you might want to consider sizing up.

Seasonal Hats from Tenth Street Hats

In the last couple years, chic seasonal hats have really made a comeback. So, if you are looking for a pretty winter hat, or even one to gift to the man in your life, Tenth Street Hats is the place to shop. This cranberry color is the perfect pop of color in the blah winter months. And this one just sits so perfectly.

I’m also loving the plain black felt floppy hat they sent my way and the olive green one as well. If you are heading off on a tropical winter vacation - lucky you - they also sell some really adorable straw hats.

Handmade Real Flower Necklaces

Can we talk about these gorgeous floral necklaces we’re wearing? They are fresh flowers that Stacey from Trillium Floral Artistry selected specifically for me and then put together for the first Holiday event of the season! Aren’t they gorgeous? They were so pretty and fragrant that so many people ohhed and ahhed about them!

Stacey is all about customizing the necklace for each person and event, and she does an amazing job. Plus, they last all day! The picture below was taken at the end of the night, once my event was over and I was back home - and it still looks gorgeous.

PS. Don’t forget the ShopBop sale is still going on through Sunday. So you still have time to stock up on some great clothing pieces, little gifts for friends and relatives, and the latest fashion trends. The more you spend, the more you save.

All of these items have been gifted to me for the purpose of reviewing. All opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting brands that support ModlyChic!
