I admit it. I am truly addicted to large, over-sized cable knit sweaters. It’s an addiction of sorts. I seek them out in stores and online retailers. I reach for them most mornings, even if half the time I can convince myself to go with something else. I want them in all possible colors and knit patterns. I only own three chunky cable-knit sweaters, but three could easily multiply into six if I am not careful. There is just something so easy and comfortable about these sweaters. They work on ‘fat’ days and days you feel like a million bucks the moment you get out of bed. They work with denim or layered over a dress, like in this pic. They don’t give you much shape, but the coziness trumps all of that. Just give me a cable knit sweater for Christmas and I’ll be happy. (hint, hint)
No. We don’t have snow right now. We’ve only gotten a couple days of snow so far, which is just fine by me. But I managed to get pics in the snow before it melted away the last time it fell. I know everyone wishes for a White Christmas, but I wouldn’t mind a balmy 50* Christmas for a change. It would be nice not to have to bundle up and digging my gloves and hats out of storage. I swear they are in a box, somewhere.

Love this look! SO chic!
Thanks Ellen!
