I wish the weather would decide it is actually almost May and stick to the sun and warmth. But alas, that seems to be too much to wish for since one day it is sunny and in the high 70s and the next day it is dreary and barely 50*. So, as much as I would love to transition my closet to warm-weather items, I’m still keeping the winter/fall pieces for another week or two, like this gray midi dress.
Dress: Old Navy
Jacket: Kohls
Scarf: Wauwatosa boutique
Tights: Walgreens
Booties: ModCloth
Earrings: New York & Co.
Soon, hopefully very soon, it will be too warm to wear this. But for now the midi length, the long sleeves, the warm material has me craving it on some of the colder mornings. At the same time, I feel like the same old winter looks need to be re-invented. I don’t want to pair this dress, as I have before, with a vegan leather vest and tall boots. Instead I went with a floral scarf that had me thinking Spring, even if it isn’t really here yet, as well as the army green jacket, which is a closet staple nearly year round.
How are you moving toward Spring, even if your weather isn’t making that easy?

Very cute. And love the boots!
Love the look, head to toe!! I am especially obsesed with the booties!! xo
Perfect for these sometimes stormy spring days, it’s always a gamble if it will burn off and be sunny or not. Gray is also my favorite color, beautiful!
So pretty!!! You look beautiful!! Love those booties!!
Xoxo,
