For the DSW ShoeHookUp, I ended up taking so many outfit-of-the-day pictures with these great Coconuts Britain Riding Boots that I couldn’t decide which look I wanted to feature. But then I realized it would be fun to feature several different ways the same pair of boots can be styled to create a variety of looks - business attire, everyday wear, edgy chic, city strolling, etc…
Day One was the business appropriate look. Cobalt pencil skirt, polka dot sweater, black tights and a fun necklace. (Plus there was a little sneak peak outfit in this category, with the bright green blazer and black pencil skirt.)
Day Two was everyday wear. Skinny jeans paired with a layering combination that included a summer shirt dress, black waterfall cardigan and bright purple sweater.
Day Three is all bringing out a little rocker chic vibe. I wore this when I was out running errands, getting a little into the holiday spirit. The outfit was warm enough to deal with the chilly weather and jumping in and out of the car and stores. The layered sweater and moto jacket was perfect. The riding boots fit perfectly under the jeans, especially when rolled.

My most memorable shoe purchase was my first pair of Marc Jacobs flats from DSW (an amazing tangerine and plum pair with a turnlock) I would login and look at them for months - just waiting to for the right time to hit that checkout button - I ended up paying next to nothing thanks to DSW’s rewards program, gift cards and shuluv! They’re my favorite pair of shoes and every time I wear them I receive compliments..they were definitely worth the wait!
My favorite shoe purchase was something that I didn’t buy but had someone buy for me. They were red and black pumps, so very pretty!
My favorite pair of converse sneakers were so worn out beyond repair, my mum had to throw them in the trash. I cried for the next two days over those lost beauties. I love converse. I can’t, can NOT live without a comfy pair of sneakers! 😛
So, after I was done with all the crying, I kept searching for my favorite perfect pair online and finally found one. I got that same pair (black with grey and purple paint pattern) all wrapped up on the dining table, a few days later on my birthday! Yeah, I think my little brother must have told mum I that’s the pair I want. Hee hee ^_^

my best shoe purchase was a pair of gucci sandals that i got from DSW for absolutely nothing out of pocket! i used a promo code, rewards certificates, and giftcards!
My most memorable shoe purchase would have to be just 1 month ago. Looking at some boots, not DSW sorry, and wanted to buy but knew I didnt really need to spend the money. Ended up not buying, as we were leaving the sales girl told us all boots will be on sale Monday for $20. The boots, knee high lace all way up the front, I wanted were $70. So I come back Monday but the signs posted state “Starting at $20”. Needless to say I was not happy, just drove 45 mins & not getting my boots. The sales guy that waited on me was so kind ans sweet. Told him about Saturday & he said because I was told that & the company changed the sale before they opened it would honor the $20 price. I was so HAPPY!! Love those boots..
My most memorable shoe purchase was taking my mother to DSW so she could pick out a pair of shoes for her birthday and stumbling upon a pair of Clark’s in the clearence section that she was searching for; great deal for a great mom!
my most memorable shoe purchase is a black pair of bocs.
Most memorable shoe purchase is my pair of valentino peep toes for my wedding!
security ferlndiy usually means there is no metal shank in the sole. the idea being that you can wear them thru the metal detector and not set it off. not sure if it works, since most airports seem to require you take your shoes off these days.
I love a good pair of bf jeans! I’ve been meaning to replace my gap ones for some time now. You look great in ALL of them! Would love a series on black skinny bottoms, this one is super helpful for restocking jeans this spring. Thanks a lot, I Love your choice 🙂
