It’s day two of my DSW ShoeHookUp Giveaway and that means a second outfit, illustrating another way to style the basic black riding boots. These beauties, Coconuts Britain Riding Boots, have ended up being much more versatile than I originally expected them to be. The boot shaft is wide enough that tucking skinny jeans in is not an all-day uncomfortable experience and yet they are snug enough to look right whether pants are tucked in or layered over the top.
Yesterday’s outfit included a cobalt blue pencil skirt, a polka dot sweater, tights and a seriously great necklace from Mimi Boutique. Check it out here. Tomorrow’s outfit is a little more rocker chic with leather and distressed denim.

I recently splurged on two pairs of boots that I really wanted and would not normally buy. Then I broke my leg, so I haven’t been able to wear them!
Hi
it’s so so tough to pick a single shoe purchase story. I love each visit, especially when I can find something in the clearance section 🙂 Sorry, haha
Very excited about the give-away!
Thanks
Aditi
My most memorable shoe experience is finding a great deal on uggs at DSW!
I sorely need a pair of riding boots- I don’t have any at the moment! My most recent memorable purchase was the Sam Petty ankle boots- I’d been waiting them for ages and then they released a version in leather and I snatched it up immediately. Definitely an investment but I think it was worth it because I wear them all the time!

Last year I purchased my wedding shoes from DSW (of course) and I walked out of there with the perfect pair of shoes for under $15!!! Gotta love clearance on the clearance!

After I had my brain surgery I found I could not wear heels. I would just topple over. Now I was a woman who LOVED shoes. This was 1996, flats were not cool and were hardly available. It was not fun. Then I saw this pair of shoes. They only had 2 1/2″ heels but to me they were glorious so I bought them. I still have them. I have only worn them twice and had to cling to my husband’s arm both times but it was wonderful to feel a bit sexy again.

My most memorable purchase is buying my wedding dress of course! It was the only time I felt so proud spending my entire paycheck! lol!
The boots I got last fall came from DSW and they are perfect. I still love them!

I remember finding a pair of running shoes marked down at DSW. By the time I used my birthday rewards and other coupons - they cost me less than $10. I was so excited!
I got these boots last month, and I love them. They’re so comfortable and cute. And like you said, you can wear them inside, and outside of pants. I also like the bit of edge they have with the buckles.
Any and all tods driving mocs — so comfortable and they last forever!

I love my Sam Eddleman booties that I bought at DSW! Love the giveaway! Thank you so much!
My most memorable shoe purchase was the Madden Girl booties.
A $130 pair of boots that I got for $20! I love them.
i don’t think I’ve had a truly memorable shoe purchase yet, but hopefully that will change
This year I thrifted a fabulous pair of gray ankle boots for $8. Turns out they retail for around $140!

Riding boots!
Honestly, my most memorable purchase came from DSW. A pair of champagne slingbacks, 80% which knocked them under $10 and I got to use my $10 off!! I felt like I had hit the lottery. I can’t remember the brand name right now, I want to say Kelly & Kate, maybe…but the shoes original price were over $60. Most of my memorable shoe purchases have been from DSW, when I see that Yellow sticker for 80%, its a deal (if its a pair I like of course)
My most memorable shoe purchase would be when I traveled from Columbia, SC to Charlotte, NC to go to DSW for my birthday because SC didn’t have a DSW yet. When I bought my shoes, I started talking with the cashier about DSW’s Facebook, and they ended up wanting a picture with me!
Most memorable is probably my pair of Timberland boots, memorable because I bought them about 13 years ago and they are still as sturdy as ever! I just decided over Thanksgiving that I should probably buy another pair for the next 13 years!
Most memorable purchasing snow boots for my 2nd trip to Columbus, oh the wonder of dry socks and warm feet!
I used to be a high heel kinda gal! Then, 4 kids later, I am all about flats! lol
Those who know are astonished to see me wearing flats, which I used to despise.
However, I still keep my heels collection and I love playing dress up now and then.
My favorite pair of shoes is my pair of cowboy boots that has lasted forever and is still in good shape!
I enjoyed my shopping sprees to the Goodwill in Florida where we used to live! Now we live in Dallas and I can’t find great deals in our Goodwill!
i’ll always remember a year and a half ago when i got my most favorite pair of shoes; my knee high buckled converse.
A great pair of dressy slip-on sandals I found on sale at DWS. I wore them to three weddings and a couple other events last summer!
Any great steal I find is a memorable moment! Got some great short boots on Black Friday!
I see that DSW cut down on their luxury brands. Thank stinks!
